Immigration and Refugee Services of America - Mission: To address the needs and rights of persons in forced or voluntary migration worldwide by advancing fair and humane public policy, facilitating and providing direct professional services, and promoting the full participation of migrants in community life.
International Institute St. Louis - The International Institute, a 501 c (3) agency and member of the United Way, helps refugees and immigrants to independence by teaching English, finding jobs, and providing adjustment services to overcome language and cultural barriers. We build a healthier community by helping newcomers become productive citizens and by promoting public awareness of the important contribution ethnic diversity makes to the St. Louis area's economy and quality of life.
Missouri Multicultural Network - It is the mission of the Missouri Multicultural Network and Missouri Southern State University's Institute of International Studies to provide an all-encompassing information clearinghouse for Missouri's immigrants, refugees and other limited English speaking persons, as well as offer resources and networking capabilities to service providers working to smooth immigrant transition into American society.
Missouri Multicultural Network Citizenship Course - For those who desire to become a citizen of the United States, the Missouri Multicultural Network, through funding from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) offers a free, online citizenship-preparation course that prepares non-U.S. citizens for the actual naturalization process through Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS).
Southeast Asia Resource Action Center - SEARAC is a national organization advancing the interests of Cambodian, Laotian, and Vietnamese Americans through leadership development, capacity building, and community empowerment. We were founded in 1979 as the Indochina Refugee Action Center (IRAC) to facilitate the relocation of Southeast Asian refugees into American society and foster the development of nonprofit organizations led by and for Southeast Asian Americans. We serve as a coalition-builder and leader, carry out action-oriented research projects, and strengthen the capacity of community-based organizations such as mutual assistance associations (MAAs) and faith-based organizations (FBOs). We also foster civic engagement among Southeast Asian Americans, and represent our communities at the national level in Washington, DC.
